Building a strong global health research system: Developing the role of the nurse workforce
An NIHR Meeting to celebrate International Nurses Day 2016

Are you a practising NIHR Clinical Research Nurse delivering and supporting clinical research in
England? Then join us at the fourth NIHR Clinical Research Nursing meeting on 12 May 2016 at the Macdonald Burlington Hotel, Birmingham.

During this interactive day we will hear from invited speakers who have been asked to describe the changing landscape from their perspective and present their understanding of the consequences of the changes for the research service delivery practice.

Invitation for poster presentations

As the NIHR celebrates its 10th anniversary we invite poster presentations which can clearly demonstrate the value and impact of the clinical research nurse workforce to the development of research opportunities within NHS services. In particular we would be keen to see how research teams have grown and developed and changed in response to the needs of the patients, carers, the portfolio and industry. If you wish to submit a proposal, please complete the online abstract form when you register for the meeting.

Registration
We expect a great deal of interest in this meeting so please register as soon as possible. Registration does not guarantee a place. We will endeavour to be as fair as possible in allocating places, aiming for a specialty and geographical spread. Attendance at the meeting is free of charge for NIHR nurses.

Registration is available at: Registration is available at: www.profbriefings.co.uk/nihr/ccrn2016
