Research for Patient Benefit: an information event

The Research Design Service for the East of England is running an information event about the NIHR Research for Patient Benefit (RfPB) Programme. The aim of the event is to provide health researchers with a greater understanding of renewed programme and to provide details about the types of proposals RfPB are keen to receive.

Registration is FREE and refreshments will be provided

Speakers include Ben Morgan, Interim assistant Director for RfPB and Dr Stephen Barclay, Chair of the East of England RfPB committee.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions of the speakers as well as network with presenters, other NIHR colleagues and RDS advisors during coffee/ lunch.

A series of pre-booked 1:1 sessions will also be taking place from 1pm for investigators to discuss specific research ideas with the speakers/ NIHR RfPB Programme Manager. RDS advisors from the East of England region will also be available to discuss general research ideas and/or more specialist input. 

Dr Judy Henwood, the Research Design Lead and Dr Clara Yates, Research Grants Advisor from the Research Office will also be at the event to provide research development help and advice.
