During 2014-15 over 700,000 people took part in research across the NHS in England.  Over 13,000 of these were from Norfolk & Suffolk.  In celebration of this achievement we would like to take this opportunity to extend a big thank you to all the people who gave up their time to take part in these studies.  Your contribution is helping us to better understand the illnesses that affect you, your needs and experiences with respect to your health, and will help us to improve the services and care for patients in the future.

If you haven’t yet taken part in any research then you can help by:

·         Asking your GP or clinician about research opportunities for you and your family – It’s “OK to Ask

·         Finding out about what studies are happening locally – Use the NIHR “Find A Study” Tool

You can find out a bit more about what it is like to take part in research by visiting the NIHR website.
