Research Capability Funding
The Research Office administers Research Capability Funding (RCF) on behalf of the Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board (ICB).
RCF is awarded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) to research active NHS organisations to enable them to maintain research capacity and capability.
Would it help you if you could employ a Research Associate to support the development of your next grant application to the NIHR?
The submission window for 2022/23 RCF funding applications is now closed.
If you wish to discuss future RCF applications, potential research projects, or to make a general enquiry,
please contact the Research Development team at NWCCG.ResearchDevelopment@nhs.net
RCF funded evidence summaries
As a condition of the RCF award, recipients are required to produce a briefing summarising the current evidence and its importance to NHS commissioning staff and the ICS to inform their decision making.
The summaries are presented in a one page poster style summary. They are published on our website and via social media. Summaries can be accessed here.
